Isar
Ina and her family boarded the German freighter Isar for the voyage to Ecuador. The ship was a fairly new one, probably built in 1929. Ina recalls that it had a swimming pool that she and her brother enjoyed. Shortly after her family’s voyage to Ecuador, the Isar was recommissioned by the German Navy.
